Magic everywhere ✨ Day 1 and 2

Today I'd like to tell you more about my recent trip to Disneyland Resort Paris, the happiest place on earth.

I've been there with my parents and we planned this trip about half a year ago. Since we bought annual passports last year, it would have been a waste if we hadn't made this trip. Unfortunately, the passes will expire on 4th August. However, on our next trip, we'll get new ones!

On the 18th July, our journey started. Early in the morning, at 6 AM, we left the house. Luckily, there were no traffic jams and no other problems on the highway so we arrived in our hotel, Hipark Résidence Serris Val d'Europe, at about 12 AM. Normally, you're allowed to check-in at 3 PM but we asked our travel agency for the early check-in service so that we were able to go in our room straight away. We booked a suite which has a bedroom, a living room, a kitchenette, a toilette and a bathroom. It was our third time in the hotel and we love it! You can walk to the parks in 15 minutes, next to the hotel, there is a bakery and nearby there is a huge mall with a grocery store. My mother and me decided to not to go to the Disneyland Park, but to the Disney Village while my father stayed in the hotel to rest a little bit. We strolled through the stores, went to Starbucks, watched the PanoraMagique balloon go up and shopped some pins for my lanyard. I'm still new into pin trading but I really enjoy it! After a few hours, we called my father to pick us up and go to the grocery store Auchan. I bought myself a huge glass of Nutella, Frozen biscuits, Frozen tissues, french pastry and the cutest thing ever - honey in a bear pot! After we finished our purchases, we went back to the hotel to make preparations for the next day. We wanted to leave the hotel as early as possible to enjoy the Extra Magic Hours (EMH). For those of you who don't know what the EMH are: The park opens at 10 AM for the public but for people who stay in a Disney Hotel or who are owners of annual passports, Disneyland open it's gates at 8 AM.

So the next morning, we woke up at 6 AM and got ready so we could go to the parks directly after the breakfast. By the way, the breakfast in the Hipark Hotel is great! They have the best brownies on earth. However after the breakfast, we took our bags and backpacks and headed to the Disneyland Park. As always, the first moment when I saw the castle was so emotinal and everything was just perfect! The weather was fantastic. The sky was blue and there were no clouds. The first thing we did was going to the princess pavilion to see which princess will be there. When I saw the names of the princesses, I couldn't belive it. I've been checking Twitter every day since the new system at the pavilion has been installed and lost the hope to meet my favorite princess but there it was: Rapunzel would be in the pavilion from 4.30 PM to 7 PM. My eyes were wet and I couldn't breath properly (I have asthma, so yeah) and you can't imagine how much this meant to me. The first day at the park and I was already able to see her! The other princess in the pavilion was Belle. I already met her last year so we decided to do some rides (it was about 9 AM so there was enough time). We went to my favorite ride Peter Pan's flight, then Pirates of the Caribbean, watched the Frozen Sing Along Show, then we went in the castle and decided to go to the hotel to change clothes. It was really hot in the morning and I wanted to look pretty for Rapunzel so I took a shower and we went back to the park. As usually, there was a long wait in the pavilion and I think we waited about 90 minutes, even though it said 75 minutes. My parents and me didn't care and waited patiently. As we got closer and closer, my heart started pounding and it felt like I was dying out of excitement! Then, the cast member came and took us with him. Words can't describe how happy I was.

There she was, shining like the most wonderful star in the whole night sky. It was crystal clear, I was where I'm meant to be. I hugged her with all my heart and soul. I told her that it was my dream to meet her and she is so happy to see me too and that now it's time for a new dream. We talked about her hair, I asked her if there is still magic in it but she told me that actually there isn't, she just woke up some day, looked in the mirror and noticed that her hairline was blonde again. It grew very fast but it isn't as long as it was before. I told her that I love her braid and asked if the children still do it. She affirmed it but added that they she still have to brush and brush and brush her hair so it doesn't get tangled. Her daily routine is still the same - she wakes up at 7 AM, starts on the chores and sweep 'til the floor's all clean, then reads a book or maybe two or three, adds a a few new paintings to the castle's gallery, plays guitar and knit, and cook and even more. I asked her how Flynn, Pascal and Maximus are doing - she told me that Eugene was in the Snuggly Duckling with Prince Eric and Prince Phillip. I was a astonished because I always thought Aladdin and Flynn would be best buddies because of their past as thieves. Rapunzel said that she tries to keep them apart because always when they meet, there is kind of a competiton between them. We laughed and I asked which name Flynn prefers now. The answer was simple: When he's out with Rapunzel, he has to call himself Eugene and that's also the name Rapunzel prefers but when he's out alone, he still calls himself Flynn Rider. By the way, Flynn is also the name I prefer. We talked even more and it was the best Meet and Greet experience I ever had! We made cute photos, did the Smolder together, hugged each other, did the typical Rapunzel pose and I told her how much I love her. She was so nice and I didn't want to leave her but a proverb says "Always leave them wanting more". I will keep these memories forever in my heart and they mean the world to me. Thank you so much, Rapunzel, I love you! When we left the pavilion, my parents told me that we were talking so long that the cast members got already nervous because normally, you have about two until three minutes with the characters and then the characters themselves try to make photos with you and end the conversation. Rapunzel didn't. And the photographer was so cool, too! He took many pictures and even spoke German (my parents only speak German and Polish so it was quite nice!).

After the pavilion, I was so happy that some tears dropped down my face. I couldn't stop smiling the rest of the day and even tough we rode It's a small world for the first time, I wasn't able to concentrate on the ride and only thought of Rapunzel. This was really the best day of my life.
After all, we spend the evening eating the pineapple whip, wandering through the park, going to some shops and going back to the hotel. It was a wonderful first day at the park!

I hope you enjoyed reading about the first two days of our journey. We've been in Disneyland from the 18th to the 24th July and the next travelogue will follow soon.
